Application of Cryogenic Yin'ertong in Oral Care of Patients With Paraquat Poisoning

Objective To investigate the effect of Yin'ertong stored in 4℃refrigerator in oral care of patients with paraquat poisoning.Methods A total of 68 patients with oral ulcer caused by paraquat poisoning were randomly divided into observation group (group A) and control group (group B).Group A were administered with Yin'ertong stored in 4℃refrigerator, while group B were treated with Yin'ertong stored in normal temperature. Oral ulcer area, oral pain scores and satisfaction with the collutory were compared between the two groups.Results There is no significant difference in the therapeutic effect of oral ulcer treatment between the two groups (P> 0.05). But Oral pain scores in observation group is signiifcantly lower than those in control group, while satisfaction degree in observation group is significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). ConclusionYin'ertong stored in 4℃ refrigerator can guarantee the curative effect of oral ulcer.It also significantly release patients’ oral pain, and improve clinical oral care satisfaction, providing a safe, effective and satisifed oral care way in patients with paraquat poisoning.
