摘要

This paper presents an approach to optimization of selection of feeder conductor cross-section using methods of multicriteria decision making. The focus of the paper is related to the application of the compromise ranking method and a method of uncertainty for determination of the cost-effective conductor size. Application of this method allows the decision makers argumentation regarding their decisions, as well as obtaining the best alternative in relation to other ones compared. Designed multicriterial access to the selection of section of feeder conductor allows involvement of diverse and disparate criteria, implementation of mathematical models and modification of criteria parameters as required by decision maker, with the aim of ranking and obtaining the optimal solution.
