摘要

Cu-15Cr-0.1Zr in situ composite was fabricated by cold drawing and intermediate heat treatment. Results of experiments demonstrate ultimate tensile strength of the in situ Cr fiber reinforced composite reaches 1200 MPa, electric conductivity reaches 73%IACS. The evolution of microstructure and mechanical properties of the material with different drawing ratio were investigated. With increasing drawings ratio, the dendrite chromium phase with a discontinuous distribution develops into fine fibrous bundles to result in the increase of strength. The influence of different intermediate heat treatment on properties was studied, and the results suggest that Cu-15Cr-0.1Zr in situ composite which exhibits a good combination of strength and conductivity can be obtained by controlling draw ratio and proper intermediate heat treatment.
