摘要

The use of multifunctional nanosized composites for active and intelligent packaging systems was analyzed. Nanosized luminescent particles such as nano zinc oxide (nano-ZnO) were considered as possible agents for active and intelligent packaging systems. The influence of food spoilage or decay compounds which emerge during storage before and after expiration date on the intensity of luminescent emission of nanosized particles including nano-ZnO was studied. The potentiality of the usage of nanosized ZnO as luminescent substance (luminophore) in combination with nanosized magnetite Fe3O4 (magnetic fluid) was demonstrated. Nanosized composite material consisting of nano-ZnO and nanosized Fe3O4 in polymer matrix was synthesized. The mechanism of the phenomenon of luminescent emission quenching by magnetic material in multifunctional luminescent-magnetic nanocomposites with the increase of concentration of the magnetic compound was discovered, and the way to overcome the problem of quenching was found.
