A trust computing method based on feedback credibility

Trust is an important issue in distributed systems. Recommendation trust has very strong subjectivity. Mendacious recommendation will mislead trust evaluation and threat the system security. To address the problem, this paper proposed a trust computing method based on feedback credibility. Feedback credibility is used to evaluate the authenticity of the recommendation trust by computing the difference between the recommendation trust and mean recommendation trust. The time attribute of feedback information was identified by time decay function. Simulation experiments show that this method can reduce effectively the impact of mendacious recommendation trust, and compute accurately the trust of entity according to entity's behaviors. It provides reliable information to correctly make the security decisions for the system.
