摘要
We present a multiband double-negative acoustic metamaterial (AM) based on coupled Helmholtz resonators (HRs). By assembly of the detuned HR pairs with the optimized coupling, the combined structure exhibits multiple alternatively double-positive and double-negative passbands around 1000 Hz. Theoretical analysis, numerical simulations, and experimental measurements demonstrate the feasibility of our method to achieve multiband double negativity. The proposed design advances the practicality of multiband double-negative acoustic metamaterial devices.
