Nuclear beta-Catenin under Control

During Wnt stimulation, beta-catenin accumulates in the nucleus, where it regulates gene transcription. In this issue of Developmental Cell, Lu et al. (2015) report a mechanism that specifically targets this nuclear pool for degradation, using lysine demethylation as ubiquitination signal.
