摘要
Various types of magnetic metallic multilayers are being studied in several Institutions of China for their novel phenomena and great potentiality in applications. Highlights of some recent results in this field are given. Besides the multilayers and superlattices from transition metals we find several unusual new superlattices of rare earth and transition metals with giant atomic radii misfits of congruent-to 20% between the two immiscible constituents. Some interesting studies of YBa2Cu3O7-PrBa2Cu3O7 and C80-metal multilayers are also outlined.
