摘要

Neurolysis and subcutaneous anterior transposition are performed for ulnar nerve palsy of various etiologies, including cubital tunnel syndrome, around the elbow. However, subcutaneous anterior transposition is considered contraindicated in cases with elbow hyperextension. We treated a patient who had transient repeated ulnar nerve palsy after subcutaneous anterior transposition with a method that we devised, elbow arthrorisis (ie, surgery to limit the mobility of the joint), and obtained a satisfactory outcome. This case report describes a rare case of ulnar nerve palsy after subcutaneous anterior transposition due to elbow hyperextension.
