摘要

Two new species of Fomitopsis from South China are described based on morphological characters and molecular evidence. Fomitopsis cystidiata sp. nov. is unique due to its annual and conchoidal to flabelliform basidiomata, orange brown to fuscous and concentrically zonate pileus and purple pink pore surface when fresh, large angular pores (0.5-1 per mm), thick-walled cystidia and cylindrical to oblong-ellipsoid basidiospores at 5-6.2 x 2-2.8 mu m. Fomitopsis fragilis sp. nov. is characterized by its annual, ungulate and fragile basidiomata with a dark brown crust, large angular pores (1-2 per mm), densely septated skeletal hyphae, and oblong-ellipsoid basidiospores at 4-5.2 x 2.2-2.8 mu m. Phylogenetic analysis based on ITS+nLSU rRNA gene regions suggested two new species belonging to Fomitopsis sensu lato of the Antrodia clade.
