The allometry relationship between metabolic rate and biomass has always been concerned. Generally believed that in the relationship of B = BoM delta, the value of delta was close to 2/3 or 3/4, but there was also evidence that the value of delta has another (no more than 1), or not fixed. In order to find the variation law of delta and the concrete composition of B-o, took the woody plants as an example, it was considered that the essence of the relationship involved space, energy, time and so on. The growth law of woody plants was derived and analyzed by using the above basic elements. First, established the framework explanation of allometric relationship between tree diameter and height, then the equation of describing growth based on the iterative mechanism was established, the range of delta and the detail form of Bo were obtained accordingly. Then the above derivation and analysis was verified using the actual data, and the results were satisfactory. Finally, we had a new understanding about B = BoM delta. For adult trees, the range of delta was mainly concentrated in the range of 3/4 to 0.287.
