Superconductivity induced by heat treatment under high pressure in PrFeAsO(0.75)

摘要

PrFeAsO(0.75) was prepared at 900 degrees C using the solid state reaction method which shows no superconductivity and a strong resistivity anomaly at 150 K. The resistivity anomaly was usually ascribed to the spin density wave ( SDW) instability. After further treatment under a high pressure of 6 GPa at a temperature of 1300 degrees C for 2 h, the resistivity of PrFeAsO(0.75) is two orders lower than that before treatment and a superconducting transition is observed.
