An Alarm Model for River Accident Pollution Emergency

摘要

An alarm model is introduced in the paper,which is aimed to assess the expected concentration of a pollution place and its time of arrival at a particular river section downstream,based on rough input data. Following described the development of a propagation model. The influence of dead zones on the transport of a spill in a river has been considered and the analytical solution method was selected. The model based on a one-dimesional approach for the transport of dissolved matter, however, the different specific aspects was discussed. The model was tested in schematic cases and its results showed its rationality in comparison with measuring data, especially for the peak concentration of the pollution and the time when the peak concentration appeared, the simulated value and monitored value corresponded very well.
