摘要

A novel procedure for the direct determination of Ca, Mg and Fe in serum using an improved electrothermal vaporization simultaneous microwave plasma torch spectrometer (ETV-MPT) was described. The background emission and spectral interferences caused by tantalum ablation were reduced by coating the coil with tantalum carbide. The proposed method eliminated the need for a lengthy sample digestion procedure, and avoided the matrix interference. The operating parameters were studied and optimized. The detection limits were 0. 04, 0. 4 and 4. 6 mu g/L for Ca, Mg and Fe, respectively, and the relative standard deviations were less than 5 % (n = 6). The new system was successfully applied to the analysis of practical serum sample.
