摘要

A magnetoelastic sensor is comprised of a magnetoealstic substrate (Metglas) and an active layer (zeolite). In this paper, a previous method that measures adsorption-induced stresses in Metglas is modified. That method which was demonstrated for Metglas/FAU and Metglas/LTA sensors, was based on fitting the humidity adsorption data of each sensor with a phenomenological theory developed by Squire. The purpose of the current work is twofold. The previous method is modified with a more direct fitting approach and their results are compared to each other. Also, a model developed by Hsueh is applied in order to correlate the stresses in the Metglas with the induced stresses in the zeolite layers.
