An USB-driven controller of an experimental facility

摘要

Units of a controller based on an FT245BM microcircuit (USB-FIFO interface converter) are described. The controller is intended for controlling many (up to 256) functional units, which are parts of the experimental facility, using a single USB channel. The unit access rate is up to 1 kHz. While referring to a unit, up to 127 bytes can be written into it, and, simultaneously, up to 384 bytes can be read from the unit with a 1-MHz frequency.
