APSO-based nonlinear predicted control and its application for the pH neutralization reactor control

A new predictive control algorithm based on adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) is proposed. APSO is characteristic of global optimum and fast convergence. It effectively overcomes the shortage of normal optimization algorithm. APSO-MPC is applied to the pH control of the neutralization reactor. The simulation results illustrate its effectiveness.
