摘要

Water activities of poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) + (NH4)(2)SO4 + H2O systems have been measured using the isopiestic method at 298.15 K. The water activities were predicted successfully with a statistical mechanical model, developed by Cabezas et al.. This model includes the effect of polymer molecular mass on water activity by means of scaling laws. The parameters of the model for these systems were found and confirmed.
