The synthesis of a series of 2-amino/arylamino-4-(1-naphthyl)thiazole 4 under Solvent-free and eco-friendly conditions by applying 'Grindstone Chemistry Technique' using [hydroxy(tosyloxy)iodo]benzene is described practicing the modified Hantzsch thiazole synthesis of alpha-tosyloxyacetonaphthone 2 and thiourea/substituted thioureas 3.
