摘要

We developed a novel method to pattern microbeads by using a Breath-Figure porous film as a template. The effect of water-bath temperature on the pore size of porous films was investigated and the loading relationship between pore size and microbead size was presented. It was found the pore size of porous film increased with the increase of water-bath temperature. And the loading morphologies of microbeads changed with pore sizes of porous films. We believe that this method is a universal method to pattern all kinds of microbeads whose size is near or less than the pore size of the porous film. The patterned microbeads would have an application in fabrication of biochip.
