摘要

Fault detection is a traditional problem in the researches of complex power system. Relay protection is the first line of guaranteeing the safety of large-scale electricity grid. In order to serve the backup protection, the real-time or near real-time fault detection algorithm is the focus of our researches. In this paper, based on the basic principle of hypothesis testing, the F testing fault detection has been studied carefully. We have put forward an F testing fault detection system, and have discussed the statistical evaluation of power grid fault detection in detail. Extensive simulations have confirmed that the F testing fault detection is accurate and reliable.
