摘要
<jats:p>Continuous bridges jolted the public attention into the awareness of the seismic vulnerability due to its wide application in bridge engineering. Viscous dampers can effectively improve the seismic performance of continuous bridge. In this paper, taking the Yellow River Bridge located in seismic region with intensity VIII as an example, the influence of the damping coefficient and velocity exponent of the damper on seismic responses of the bridge are carried out in detail. The applicable model parameters are also presented.</jats:p>
