摘要

Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells are efficient energy converters and provide electrical energy, water and oxygen depleted cathode exhaust air. The latter one is suited for tank-inerting on aircraft. This paper presents modeling, a state estimation strategy and nonlinear model predictive control of a multifunctional fuel cell system. The aim is the controlled generation of a mass flow of dehumidified oxygen depleted air.
