Generation of volatile cadmium, lead and indium compounds in analysis of samples with a complex matrix

Volatile Cd, In and Pb comps. (hydrides) were synthesized by redn. of resp. salts with NaBH(4) in aq. solus. in presence of surface-active agents and used for anal. purposes by using at. emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma. Effect of Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Ca, K and Na ions on the Cd, In and Pb signals on the spectra was also studied. The method was practically used for detn. of Pb in 3 dolomites. The Pb was preliminarily oxidized with K(3)Fe(CN)(6).
