摘要

[Cu(dien)](2)[MoO4](2)center dot H2O is prepared by hydrothermal reaction of (NH4)(6)Mo7O24 center dot 4H(2)O and Cu(NO3)(2)center dot 4H(2)O in the presence of diethylenetriamine. According to single-crystal structure analysis, the compound crystallizes monoclinic (C2/c; a = 12.623(3); b = 7.813(2); c = 20.850(4) angstrom; beta = 105.5(1)degrees; Z = 4) and is composed of (Cu(N)(3)O-3) octahedra and (MoO4) tetrahedra that are interlinked to form infinite (1)(infinity)[{Cu(dien)O1/2O2/3}){(MoO2/1O1/2O1/3)}](2) chains. Between these chains one molecule of water per formula unit is incorporated through hydrogen bonding. FT-IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy as well as thermogravimetry confirm the composition and purity of the title compound.
