摘要

The main aim of this research is to describe and to interpret motor creativity in rhythmic gymnastics at school age, from the trainers' perspective. In order to carry out this research some questionnaires were sent to 35 trainers from 11 Regional Sports Organisations in Barcelona and Girona. After the data analysis and interpretation, it can be concluded that expressiveness, perception' sensitivity and composition are the most significant motor creativity indicators for rhythmic gymnastic trainers. The importance of the indicators has also been analysed when they are taken together. There is evidence that trainers acknowledge that gymnasts' participation in the creative process is in fact somewhat limited. Finally we would point out that there are some common stages in the construction of exercises in the different case studies, which limit the different creative processes which trainers adopt.
