摘要

A novel mesoporous titanium dioxide/carbon/methylene blue composite nanocluster (TiO2@C-MB) was synthesized using hydrothermal method for photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT). The mesoporous TiO2 in this system was used as an effective photosensitizer, and MB served as a significant photosensitizer additive to improve the photochemistry effect of TiO2 nanomystal and to widen the optical response area of TiO2 to the ideal therapeutic window (650 similar to 900 nm). Under hydrothermal conditions, citric acid was reduced into carbon and wrapped in the surface of TiO2, which showed an excellent photo-thermal effect, also acted as a versatile electron acceptor to accelerate the generation of singlet oxygen (O-1(2)). The nanoclusters not only could retain a high concentration of TiO2 and MB within tumor cells to generate abundant O-1(2) for killing tumour cell, but also could protect the MB from being degraded into an inactive form.
