摘要

The transverse flux permanent magnet motor (TFPM) has higher torque density than the traditional permanent magnet motor, however, it is also faced with the weakness of high cogging torque and flux leakage. Therefore, an outer rotor TFPM with laminated stator is designed by taking consideration of reducing both flux leakage and cogging torque. First, the topology of proposed TFPM is introduced and the 3D-FEM analysis model is set up. Then, the gap between adjacent magnets and auxiliary stator between stators are applied, further, the outer rotor TFPM design scheme is been decided after the gap and the auxiliary stator are optimized. Finally, the prototype is been built and the prototype experiments are implemented to validate the effectiveness of TFPM design scheme.
