摘要

Ultrafine grained (UFG) Al 7003 alloy with sizes ranging from 200 nm to a few nanometers was prepared by four passes equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) at room temperature (Bc). The evolution of microstructures of 7003 Al alloy during ECAP deformation was studied. The microstructures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), such as dislocation-tangle zones (DTZs), dislocation cell structure, isolated dislocation cells (IDCs), dense dislocation walls ( DDWs), cell blocks ( CBs), microbands (MBs) and S bands. The refinement mechanism of Al 7003 alloy during ECAP processing may be of dislocation split mechanism.
