LNG tank under ultra-low temperature is dangerous, and therefore it is necessary to carry out temperature field analysis of LNG tank under ultra-low temperature. In order to improve the computing accuracy and efficiency, the Hermitian wavelet finite element method is applied in it. Firstly, research progress on temperature field analysis of LNG tank and wavelet finite element method at home and abroad is summarized. Secondly, the basic theory of Hermitian wavelet function is studied in depth. Thirdly, the theoretical model of Hermitian wavelet finite element method for analyzing the temperature field of LNG tank under ultra-low temperature is established. Finally, the simulation analysis of LNG tank under ultra-low temperature is carried out, and the temperature distributions of LNG tank wall are obtained; results show that the Hermitian wavelet finite element method has higher computing accuracy and efficiency than the traditional finite element method, and the temperature field analysis results can offer theoretical basis of the thermal stress analysis of LNG tank under ultra-low temperature.
