An optimization model for completion strings with inner-located nozzle of horizontal wells coupled with reservoirs was established according to the mass conservation law and momentum theorem. The study demonstrated that compared with the manner using a simple blank tubing or adjusting the nozzle size, the manner using an external casing packer only or additionally in conjunction with a blank tubing (or nozzle size adjustment) could adjust the production fluid profile in a wider range. Since the high permeability zone is both the major water flooded zone and the major fluid producing zone, an undue limit of the liquid producing amount of high permeability zones may not be able to achieve a preferable result of development due to the co-existence of the limited liquid producing amount and the loss of the crude output. In non-homogeneous bottom-water reservoirs, the cumulative oil production decreases with the increase of the variation coefficient, this trend is more obvious as the variation coefficient is greater. The best effect (the maximum increase of oil production) can be obtained when the variation coefficient is about 0.6, and effects of these measures may be not obvious when the variation coefficient is too small or too great.
