摘要

On the basis of slope stability due to gravity based on strength reduction FEM, temperature driving strength reduction FEM considering deformation parameters modification was proposed for the stability analysis of 3D reservoir intake tower-base complex structure, which was more efficient than traditional strength reduction FEM. Temperature driving strength reduction FEM considering and not considering deformation parameters modification was applied to analyze the reservoir intake tower-base complex structure under the given conditions, respectively, and a comparison with the method of overloading hydraulic pressure was carried out, By getting the curves of currentwise displacement vs. time of nodes in different place, tracing the variation of equivalent plastic strain of the whole structure and the convergence or disvergence of the computation, the factor of safety and the possible factor that may lead the collapse of the structure were gained. The analysis results showed that the calculated results gained from temperature driving strength reduction FEM considering deformation parameters modification was more reasonable, and closed to that from overloading hydraulic pressure method.
