摘要

The feature of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor and resistance strain gauge for vibration detection was investigated and compared. The vibration graph in time domain was measured by FBG sensor and resistance strain gauge sensor simultaneously. The frequency spectrum was analyzed from the vibration curve through FFT. The results show that, the amplitude and frequency of the vibration signal monitored by FBG sensor are consistent with the vibration monitored by resistance strain gauge sensor. However, vibration signal monitored by FBG sensor is more accurate than that monitored by resistance strain gauge. The experiment investigation also indicates that, the vibration signal can not be monitored by resistance strain gauge under the electromagnetic interference conditions, but can be monitored by FBG sensor.
