摘要
A carbon-centered CAu6I cluster supported by N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands, N,N'-diisopropylimidazolidene ligands, has been synthesized and isolated. Its molecular structure was fully characterized by NMR, ESI-TOF MS, and XRD analyses. The complex is stable under ambient conditions and produces luminescence in the solid state at longer wavelength in comparison with a reported CAu6I cluster supported by triphenylphosphine ligands. The effects of NHC ligands with strong sigma-donating ability on the structure and chemical properties stemming from the aurophilicity are discussed.
