摘要

State simulation of water distribution networks refers to estimating the optimal operation values of state variables by computation. An improved weighted-least-squares model and its Levenberg-Marquardt method for network simulation were described. Based on the model and algorithm, a software system was developed to implement the simulation functions with higher computation speed and more visual interfaces. The software, which is programmed on the platform of Delphi 7, has the functions of graphical user interface(GUI) interface, monitor placement, state simulation and information management. During the development procedure, several programming techniques were adopted, including object-oriented method, GUI programming, Windows API and database development. The simulation results of a designed distribution network show that the root mean square of nodal head is sharply reduced from 7.33 m to 0.28 m and the software keeps stable and efficient all the time. Therefore, both the model and the software system can be used for network simulation, even for further real-time monitoring.
