摘要

The author synthesized graft copolymers with polyvinylpropionate and polyaniline (PVPr-g-PANi), via chemical and electrochemical methods that have well suitable processible solubility. PVPr-g-PANi exhibit sensing properties for some of organophosphorous toxic vapors. It is known that pesticide poisons are very important in agriculture industrials, so some of these compounds would be detected, such as dichlorvos (DCV), trichlorfon (TCF), chlorpyrifos (CPF), and phosphamidon (PPM). The authors have made the best quality device for this proposal work. The response mechanism of the conducting graft copolymer to a selection of gases and vapors was investigated using measurement of conductivity changes by utilizing a standard four-point probe method. The PVPr-g-PANi show considerably higher sensitivity to toxic gases and vapors compared to conductive homopolymers and theirs blends. The results indicate processible conductive polymers as a novel class of chemical transducers, with high selectivity that can be used in all fields of gas analysis, particularly in the design of a gas and vapor sensors and artificial nose and muscles.
