摘要

Based on analysis of geological background and typical deposits in the Shangri-la area, this study focuses on the intermediate-acid intrusive bodies which are related to porphyry mineralization. In conjunction with data of gravity anomalies, magnetic anomalies, geochemistry and remote sensing.,as well as tectonic interpretation and geochemical anomalies from stream sediment survey and placer mineral anomalies in catchment basins,45 target areas for porphyry polymetallic copper deposits have been delineated. This work has used the areal productivity method to estimate potential resources for these areas and made a comparison with those target areas which were delineated by the weighted evidence model. From a viewpoint of quantitative analysis, this study concludes that the Shangri-la area is a prospective area with great potential for exploration. It will provide scientific basis for mineral exploration and further prospecting deployment.
