An unusual oesophageal foreign body: a total denture

A mentally retarded man ingested a total denture and the denture was impacted at the cervical oesophagus. Plain X-ray imaging confirmed the diagnosis. The denture was removed via a rigid oesophagoscope. The clinical management was discussed. (Hong Kong j.emerg.med. 2013;20:317-319)
