摘要

We study the antiferromagnetic instability of an extended periodic Anderson model, which takes into account Hubbard-type correlations among conduction electrons besides ordinary f-electron correlations. By means of dynamical mean field theory (DMFT) combined with continuous-time quantum Monte Carlo simulations, we calculate the magnetic moment and the double occupancy. We find nonmonotonic temperature dependence of the double occupancy both for conduction and f-electrons, which has different origins: nonmonotonic behaviors for conduction (f-) electrons are caused by Hubbard correlations (Kondo correlations due to f-f interaction). We address a characteristic crossover between two regions dominated by Hubbard and Kondo correlations.
