A Novel K-means Image Clustering Algorithm Based on Glowworm Swarm Optimization

In this paper, the classical K-means clustering algorithm disadvantages are given, a novel image clustering algorithm based on glowworm swarm optimization (ICGSO) is proposed. The new image clustering algorithm has been applied to several benchmark images to illustrate its applicability. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm not only avoids the local optima, but also obtains the better image classification effects.
