This paper presents an autofocus measure based on mid-frequency discrete cosine transform (MFDCT) filtering and discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients. Numerous experimental results demonstrate that the autofocus measure proposed in this paper has a better uni-modal, and is more resistant to Gaussian and impulse noise.
