Diagnostic Competence of Teachers

摘要

"Diagnostic competence" is seen as a central aspect of teacher professionalism and plays a pivotal role in recent attempts of school quality improvement. The article provides an overview on the research papers of this Special Issue, focusing primarily on new insights presented within the articles. We conclude by naming central research desiderata in the area of teachers' diagnostic competence.
