Numerical Calculation of the Cooling Rate in the J-Quenching Technique

摘要

Bulk amorphous Fe-Ni-P-B alloys in rod shape with a diameter as large as similar to 2.5 mm were synthesized by means of a so-called J-quenching technique. The cooling rate of the specimen in the J-quenching technique was determined by the method of numerical calculation method in this article. The influence of various parameters on the cooling rate of the specimen in the J-quenching technique was also discussed.
