A new lignan derivative from the root of Ilex pubescens

One new compound, ilexlignan A (1), was isolated from the root of Ilex pubescens. Its structure was elucidated by the combination of one- and two-dimensional NMR analysis, mass spectrometry, CD spectrum measurement and chemical evidence.
