The design requirements for the mounting system of a condenser-radiator-fan module (CRFM) in a car are expounded and the calculation formulae for the root mean square of dynamic reaction forces in each mounting point of CRFM under the excitation of the unbalance force in cooling fan are derived. The design technique for the displacement control of CRFM mounts is discussed based on the design method of powertrain mounting system. Finally a calculation example is given with a result showing that CRFM mounting system designed with the method proposed can well meet the design requirements of CRFM mounting system.
