A new phenolic glycoside, 3,3, 5-dimethyl-6-hydroxy-2-methoxy-4-O-D-glucopyranosyl-oxy-acetophenone (1), was isolated from the aerial parts of Dryopteris fragrans. The structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods.
