摘要

Effect of the three insecticides, Chlorpyrifos (Dursban) (organophosphate), Fenvalerate (Sumicidin) (pyrethroid) and Carbosulfan (Marshal) (carbamate) was tested on pre-imaginal stages of the egg parasitoid, Trichogramma cacoeciae. The parasitoid was reared in the grain moth, Sitotroga cerealella L. eggs, at the Biological Control Laboratory, Alexandria University, Egypt. Results showed a disruptive effect of the insecticides on T cacoeciae emergence rate, as it increased when the parasitoid advanced in development in the host eggs. Marshal was the most toxic compound to T cacoeciae, followed by Sumicidin and then Dursban. Therefore, Dursban was relatively more compatible or better suited for conserving natural or released populations of the Trichogramma wasps.
