摘要

A new low-temperature sintering microwave dielectric ceramic with the composition of Li4Ti5O12 was prepared by a solid-state reaction method. The ceramic was well densified at similar to 925 degrees C and possessed excellent microwave dielectric properties with a moderate relative permittivity of similar to 30.1, a Qxf value of 29,530 GHz (at similar to 7 GHz), and a negative temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of -15.0 ppm/degrees C. When the sintering temperatures increased from 875 degrees C to 1050 degrees C, the tau(f) values of ceramics changed from -16.7 ppm/degrees C to +5.9 ppm/degrees C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were employed to study the phase composition and microstructure of the ceramic. Especially, the ceramic presented good chemical compatibility with silver powders, indicating that Li4T15O12 ceramic was a promising candidate for low temperature cofired ceramic devices.
