摘要
The polycentricity of urban regions has been an important theme in the study of urban systems. To fill in the blank of longitudinal and comparative studies, this paper uses the interlocking network model to measure the polycentricity of Chinese urban regions and subsequently examines their changes based on the location information of advance producer service (APS) firms. The results shows that the polycentricity of some Chinese urban regions did change significantly from 2006-15. Some urban regions have changed in type as a result of the changes in polycentricity and primacy ratios. Not only the polycentricity but also the polycentricity change is sensitive to scale. In addition, this paper interprets from three aspectsthe economic factor, the political factor, as well as the impacts of Chinese APS firms and foreign APS firms.
