摘要

Adenine appended Schiff base (H3L) is characterized and shows citrate (C6H5O73-) and phosphate (PO43-) ion selective recognition in green region of visible light. The limit of optical detection (LOD) of sensor for phosphate ion is 4.1 x 10(-4) M and for citrate ion is 3.8 x 10(-5) M. The quantum yield (Phi) is increased from 0.0356 to 0.3402 on citrate ion and 0.0356 to 0.418 on phosphate ion binding.
